Peres: Benazir Bhutto a brave warrior for peace
Israeli President Shimon Peres addressed the assassination earlier Thursday of former Pakistani President Benazir Bhutto, saying that he was greatly disturbed by her murder.
"Benazir Bhutto was a brave woman who did not conceal her opinions, knew no fear, and served her nation with unusual bravery and ability. She was an immeasurably charismatic leader and a warrior for peace in her land and all the world," Peres said. (Aviram Zino)
