Bird culling at Beit Hanania ends

Inspectors from the Agriculture Ministry's Veterinary Service have finished culling all poultry in Moshav Beit Hanania. The culling was ordered after a the H5N1 bird flu virus was detected in a Binyamina kindergarten's petting zoo.

The Agriculture Ministry has put chicken coops within a six–mile radius under veterinarian inspection pending further testing. (Meital Yasur-Beit Or)
