The IDF confirmed soldiers shot and hit two armed Palestinians in northern Gaza.

Later, an Israeli air strike in the eastern Gaza Strip killed a member of the Popular Resistance Committees and wounded three other men from the group, the PRC said. The IDF confirmed an air strike had taken place.

Additionally Saturday, the Salah al-Din Brigades, the Popular Resistance Committees' military wing, said it fired at IDF soldiers patrolling the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported.

The Brigades also claimed responsibility earlier for a rocket attack on the town of Sderot. Several people were treated for shock after two rockets hit the town Saturday afternoon.
