Palestinian sources: Senior PRC member killed in IAF strike in Gaza

Palestinian sources reported Monday that Abu Sa'ad, a senior member and spokesman for the Salah al-Din Brigades, the Popular Resistance Committees' military wing, was killed in the IAF attack in an northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahiya.

The IDF told Ynet that "an attack targeting a Popular Resistance Committees' operative was carried out in Beit Lahiya, in a joint operation with the Shin Bet." Abu Sa'ad had survived several similar IDF attempts in the past. (Ali Waked and Efrat Weiss)
