Report: Top Islamic Jihad operative, family members killed in Gaza blast
Sources in the Gaza Strip reported Friday that Ayman Fayed, a senior member of the al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad's military wing, and his family members, were killed in an explosion at the al-Bureij refugee camp.
According to the report, six people were killed in the explosion and more than 40 were injured. Sources in the Islamic Jihad reported that the explosion was caused by an IDF missile, but the Israeli army did not confirm the report. Hamas' security forces reported that the circumstances of the explosion were unclear. (Ali Waked)
