Ahmadinejad: More UN sanctions will not harm Iran

Iran will not be harmed by more UN sanctions over its nuclear programme, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday after the United States and other powers said they would push for further steps.

"If they want to continue with that path (of sanctions), we will not be harmed. They can issue resolutions for 100 years," he said in an interview with state television, following a report on Iran's nuclear plans by a UN watchdog. (Reuters)
