Palestinians in Syria protest against Gaza closure, reprinted Prophet cartoon

About 2,000 angry Palestinians took to the streets near Damascus on Saturday protesting the continued Israeli closure of the Gaza Strip and a drawing in Denmark portraying the Prophet Muhammad.

The protesters carrying Hamas and Palestinian flags and shouting slogans against Israel and Denmark gathered near Al-Wasim mosque at the Yarmouk refugee camp. (AP)
