Israel files complaint with UN following Qassam barrage

Israel has filed a complaint with the United Nations following a barrage of Qassam rocket fire on the western Negev that resulted in the death of 47-year-old Roni Yechiah.

Ambassador Danny Carmon, deputy head of Israeli delegation, fired off a letter of complaint to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon following "the latest attempts to compare terrorist attacks directed at Israeli civilians to Israeli responses carried out with the intention of protecting its citizens."
