6 Qassam rockets land in western Negev; none injured
Six Qassam rockets fired from the Gaza Strip landed in the western Negev Wednesday. Two of the rockets landed south of Ashkelon, another landed within the Eshkol Regional Council, and two rockets landed in Sderot. An additional rocket exploded in Palestinian Authority territory.
No injuries were reported in all instances. The Al-Quds Brigades, Islamic Jihad's military wing, claimed responsibility for these rocket attacks. (Shmulik Hadad and Ali Waked)
