Terror attack in West Bank: A 14-year-old boy sustained light to moderate wounds Thursday night after the vehicle he was traveling in came under attack in the south Mount Hebron area. The army initiated a search for suspects shortly after the attack was reported.
According to initial reports, the vehicle was targeted by shooters, but later the IDF said it found traces of an explosive device that was apparently detonated near the car. Army sappers were dispatched to the scene of the attack and examined the area.
According to the initial report received by the IDF, the vehicle that came under attack managed to reach Kiryat Arba, where the wounded boy was treated by rescue services volunteers. A short time later, the boy was taken to a Jerusalem hospital for treatment.
The Fatah's al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' "Struggle and Return cells" claimed responsibility for the attack.
Earlier Thursday, terrorists opened fire at an Israeli bus traveling south of Nablus. No injuries were reported in the attack, but the bus was damaged.

Meanwhile, security authorities are dealing with terror warnings pertaining to intentions to carry out attacks during the Purim holiday. The defense establishment has deployed in force ahead of the holiday and also imposed a full closure on the territories. The closure is expected to continue until Sunday.
Police Chief Dudi Cohen has ordered forces across the nation to boost their alert level to the second height level.
