Shin Bet goes online, launches new Arabic, English web sites
The Shin Bet launched English and Arabic web sites on Monday. The move was aimed at lifting its traditional shroud of secrecy and improving its mysterious image.
The slick new sites include video footage of airstrikes, arrest raids, VIP security squads and live-fire training, complete with action-movie music pulsing in the background. In the site the Shin Bet also provides data it gathered on terrorist activities. (AP)
