Jimmy Carter meets Hamas leaders in Cairo

Former US President Jimmy Carter, met with Hamas leaders in Cairo Thursday.
Carter is said to have met Mahmoud al-Zahar and Said Siam, both senior members of the organization. Carter's next stop is Damascus, where he is scheduled to meet with Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal. (AFP)
