Report: 1 dead, several wounded in IAF strikes in Gaza

Palestinian sources report of two Air Force strikes on northern Gaza towns; tell of civilian casualties

Palestinian sources reported and IAF strike on two gunmen cells in the northern Gaza Strip Wednesday night.

 

According to the report, a fighter jet fired a missile on gunman at the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun. One civilian was killed in the strike and several others wounded. The IDF confirmed the attack, citing the target was his as planned.

Sources in Beit Hanoun reported of mass IDF forces making their way to the area. Previous reports told of a similar IAF strike in northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahiya. No injuries were reported in that strike.

 

The IDF has stepped up its attacks on Palestinian gunmen in the Gaza Strip in recent days. On Monday, the army killed three armed Palestinians in two separate strikes. Initially, the Air Force targeted a group of gunmen near the Gaza fence and killed one of them.

 

A Givati force that entered the Strip a short while later killed the other two gunmen.

 

On Sunday, the Air Force targeted a vehicle in Rafah, killing two Palestinians.
