Mauritania captures 5 al-Qaeda suspects in attack on Israeli embassy

Mauritanian security forces captured five suspected al Qaeda militants on Wednesday accused of involvement in the killing four French tourists and attacking the Israeli embassy in Nouakchott, a security source said.

"Several searches are under way and those detained have been transferred to a high security location," Said the source, who asked not to be named. (Reuters)
