Jumblatt: Hizbullah’s weapons no longer protect Lebanon
Lebanese Druze leader Walid Jumblatt attacked Hizbullah, saying that the movement’s weapons stopped protecting Lebanon after the group decided “to use them against Beirut and Mount Lebanon”.
Jumblatt, who was interviewed by Al-Arabiya TV, added that “we do not have the militias they claim we have, but they want to take control of Mount Lebanon. All we are asking is that Lebanon be responsible for decisions regarding peace and war. (Roee Nahmias)
