Elie Wiesel calls on world to declare Iranian president persona non grata

Writer and Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel spoke Tuesday before the Israeli Presidential Conference, in Jerusalem: "We have to take our enemies' threats more seriously than we take our friends' promises," he said.

Wiesel went on to urge the participants to exclude Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from the international community: "I call on all of you to declare him persona non grata," he said. (Attila Somfalvi)
