Olmert: Ashkelon rocket attack unacceptable, Bush great friend

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert spoke in Jerusalem late Wednesday, saying the rocket attack on Ashkelon is “unacceptable.” Olmert added that the Israeli government is committed to stopping the rocket barrages towards Israel and will take the necessary measures.

“US President Bush is a great leader, great friend of Israel and a source of inspiration," said Olmert of Bush's visit. Olmert added that Israel is proud to celebrate its 60th years of independence in Jerusalem. (Attila Somfalvi)
