Left-wing, Palestinian activists protest ‘settler violence’
Some 80 Palestinians and Left-wing Israeli activists are currently staging a demonstration in Susya in South Mt. Hebron to protest the assault against a Palestinian family on Shavuot evening.
The protestors are calling for harsher action against law breakers and for an end to “settler violence.” The Palestinian family said it was attacked by several masked men while out tending to its flock, one woman was seriously wounded and two other sustained light injuries. Police are continuing their investigation. (Efrat Weiss)
