Court upholds extradition order for radical cleric

The radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri on Friday lost his legal challenge at London's High Court against an order to extradite him to the United States to face terrorism charges.

The Egyptian-born former imam of the once-notorious Finsbury Park mosque in north London, who is serving a seven-year jail term for inciting followers to murder non-believers, had appealed against the extradition order on human rights grounds. (AFP)
