Afghan Defense Ministry says 20 militants killed, wounded in attack
Afghanistan's Ministry of Defense says more than 20 militants have been killed and wounded during a battle with NATO-backed Afghan forces.
The ministry says the militants were traveling in two vehicles when they were attacked by Afghan troops aided by NATO airstrikes on Friday in northeastern Kunar province. No other details were provided. (AP)
