State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss said Sunday in response to the government’s vote, ordering his office to launch an inquiry into Vice Premier Haim Ramon’s probe, saying “I appreciate the government's confidence in me at the cabinet meeting.”
“The State Comptroller will do his best to examine the various matters involving illegal wiretapping operation with integrity, professionalism and efficiency,” it read in a statement issued on Lindenstrauss’ behalf. (Ynet)
