Former Supreme Court justice says public must ask Olmert to resign
Former Supreme Court Justice Dalia Dorner said Saturday that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert cannot continue to serve as the premier and that she expects the public to apply strong pressure on Olmert to leave office.
“Israel has no political culture and it seems that the public is indifferent to the news about dignitaries who went astray. When facts are clear, and in Olmert’s case there are more than a few facts that he himself does not contest, a public figure must draw the conclusions,” Dorner said during an event in Ramat Gan.
