Obama to meet Abbas in Ramallah on July 23

US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on July 23 in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Abbas’ office reported.
According to the report, the two will discuss the progress in the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians as well as the tension in the region. (AFP)
