Shas chair: Halting aliyah of Ethiopian Falashmura racist

Deputy Prime Minister and Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Eli Yishai criticized the government's decision to halt the aliyah mission of Ethiopian Falashmura, calling it "racist."

"This decision essentially abandons the Falashmura simply because the live on the wrong side of the planet. I cannot imagine a Jewish government allowing such a thing," he said.
