Georgia: Central pipeline activity halted

The British oil giant and controller of the oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) which transfers oil to Turkey and from there to Europe and Israel, has announced that it is halting its activity in the area of Georgia.
The pipeline is responsible for 20% of Israel’s oil consumption. (Tani Goldstein and Olga Viniar)
