Police fire on demo in Iraqi Kurdistan, 1 killed

One person was killed and four injured when police fired on demonstrators on Sunday in Iraq's normally quiet autonomous Kurdish region.

The protesters were demanding better water services in the town of Suran, 100 km (62 miles) north of the Kurdish regional capital Arbil. (Reuters)
