Russian-Jordanian cooperation heats up

Russian sources told the London-based al-Hayat newspaper that cooperation between Russia and Jordan received a "strong push" following King Abdullah of Jordan's visit to Moscow.

During the two-day visit, King Abdullah met with President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on a number of issues. According to the source, the sides intend to sign a renewed cooperation agreement. (Roee Nahmias)
