Bulgarian FM calls stronger EU pressure on Russia

Bulgaria's Foreign Minister says the EU should increase diplomatic pressure on Russia and back Georgia's aspirations to join NATO.
Ivailo Kalfin says Russia has demonstrated "the worst way to solve international problems" with its recognition of Georgia's breakaway republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Kalfin is urging the EU to maintain communication with Russia but also to join the United States in showing support for Georgia. (AP)
