A Palestinian human rights group called on Wednesday for an investigation into the conduct of Hamas' security forces in clashes with a pro-al Qaeda group that killed 12 Palestinians.
A video clip posted on the Internet showed what it said werethe bloody bodies of several Dogmush family members. One man in the group could be seen moving his head.
The fighting on Tuesday, between Hamas security forces and members of the militant Dogmush clan, was the fiercest in the coastal enclave since August when 11 people were killed during a raid by Hamas on another Gaza clan linked with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement.

Gaza security forces, responding to killing of one of their policemen during arrest operation Monday, raid Doghmush family stronghold in search of a suspect in that slaying
"Let him die. He was the one who fired against our men," an unidentified person says. The faces of the security men are not visible.
The fighting erupted on Tuesday when Hamas responded to the killing of one of its policemen a day earlier during an operation in the Dogmush clan's Gaza City stronghold.
The Gaza-based Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) urged Hamas' administration to carry out an investigation into the killings, and urged the group to ensure that "excessive force" is not used during security crackdowns.
PCHR said it was also investigating the death of Jamil Dogmush, whom some family members said was dragged by Hamas security men to the house of the slain Hamas policeman, where he was shot dead.
