Ahmadinejad urges next US president to fix ties with Iran
Iran's president says better relations with Washington are possible under the next US leader. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad opened the door for improved ties during a gathering Wednesday in New York with more than 400 university students and professors.
He said that it would be better for world affairs if Tehran and Washington ended their nearly three-decade diplomatic freeze, and urged the next US president to try to "fix ties with Iran." (AP)
