Egypt: Muslim man killed by Christian in-laws

Egyptian officials say a Muslim man has been killed by members of his wife's Christian family who broke into his house and opened fire. A police official and an official at the prosecutor's office say the man's wife and daughter were injured in the attack early Tuesday.

The officials say the family of the wife, Mariam Khilla, became enraged after she converted to Islam and married Ahmad Salah, a Muslim. Police are searching for the assailants. Coptic Christians make up 10 percent of Egypt's 76 million people. (AP)
