Iran: Iraq has duty to resist Americans

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad told a visiting Iraqi official that Iraq had "a duty" to resist the Americans. Another Iranian leader warned of unspecified consequences throughout the region if the US was not resisted.
American and Iraqi negotiators have been working for months to hammer out an agreement governing the operations of US forces in this country after the current UN mandate expires at the end of the year. (AP)
