Iranian FM to meet with Assad

Iranian Foreign Minister Manucher Mutaki is scheduled to arrive in Damascus on Monday for a one day visit in which he will be meeting with top Syrian officials to discuss relations between the two countries, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
Mutaki is expected to meet with Syrian President Bashar Assad, Vice President Farouk al-Sharaa and Foreign Minister Walid Moallem. The two nations are expected to discuss last week's American attack on Syrian soil. (Dudi Cohen)
