4 more Qassams fired from Gaza

Al-Quds Brigades, Islamic Jihad's military wing, claims responsibility for rockets landing in open spaces. No injuries or damage reported

The Palestinian terror organizations in Gaza fired four Qassam rockets at Israel Friday evening. The rockets fell in open spaces, and no injuries or damage were reported.

One of the rockets fell in Hof Ashkelon Regional Council, and another two fell just outside of the city of Sderot. The al-Quds Brigades, Islamic Jihad's military wing, claimed responsibility for the fire.

Palestinians also fired five Qassam rockets at Gaza-region communities on Friday morning. Two rockets reportedly landed in the Sderot area, while three other rockets landed in open areas in the western Negev.

No injuries were reported in the rocket barrage. The al-Quds Brigades also claimed responsibility for this earlier attack.

One of the rockets reportedly landed near a water reservoir at a southern kibbutz. Another rocket hit the fence of a western Negev kibbutz.

Meanwhile, the alert level in the south was raised ahead of the opening of the school day. Security chiefs at various regional communities urged parents to remain alert and boosted their patrols in the area.
