Auschwitz building plans unearthed

German police uncovered the original building plans for the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp from WWII, during the evacuation of an apartment in Berlin, the German newspaper Bild reported.
There were 28 building plans, drawn up on a scale of 1:100 and bearing the official stamp of the SS, as well as some signatures of SS officials, including on some plans that of Heinrich Himmler. (AFP)
