The State Prosecutor's Office informed the High Court of Justice on Monday that it has found an alternative location for the illegal West Bank outpost of Migron, which is currently located near the settlement of Ofra.
The State proposed relocating the outpost's residents to a new neighborhood under the municipal jurisdiction of Adam (Geva Binyamin), a communal Israeli settlement
located about three miles northeast of Jerusalem.

According to the State, the Yesha Council has agreed to
the proposed location and has notified the Defense Ministry that it will begin relocating the residents immediately.
Executing the plan, added the State, would require several preliminary moves, such as formulating a schedule and signing the appropriate contracts; as well as the political echelon's approval.
The latter will have to review the plans made for the new neighborhood, in order to ensure they coincide with Israel's diplomatic obligations.
Furthermore, the defense establishment intends on forming a steering committee, which will include representatives from the Defense Ministry, the Construction and Housing Ministry and the Civil Administration, to supervise the process.
The Defense Ministry, concluded the statement, will keep the court abreast of the progress made and will file a report to that effect in four months time.
The State did, however, stress that Migron does not stand to be relocated in the immediate future, as the new neighborhood is still under construction.
