Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said following the cabinet's decision to release 250 Palestinian prisoners as a goodwill gesture to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, that "alongside the release of prisoners as a gesture to Abu Mazen (Abbas), Israel should balance its actions by systematically damaging Hamas and displays of terror.
