Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni met in Brussels with José Manuel Durão Barroso, president of the European Commission, and the two discussed the global financial crisis and Europe's handling of its results.
"Israel has a strong economy, but it must also provide security to its citizens, who were hurt by the economic leadership, which transferred their funds to risky investments," she said. (Roni Sofer)
