Britain's Brown offers Pakistan help against militants

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown offered Pakistan and India help fighting militants on Sunday during a visit to the region aimed at easing tensions after last month's attack in Mumbai.
His visit coincided with a new spat between the neighbors after Pakistan said Indian warplanes had inadvertently violated its airspace. India denied any incursion. (Reuters)
