Likud Court rules Ethiopian candidate to keep 28th slot on Knesset list

Following an appeal by Likud member Alali Adamso, the Likud Court overturned the party's Election Committee's decision to disqualify the Ethiopian candidate's win of the 28th slot on the party's Knesset roster.
The initial petition was filed against Adamso's election under the claim that the slot was reserved for new immigrants and that he did not fall under the party's definition of a new immigrant. (Amnon Meranda)
