Kadima Chairwoman Tzipi Livni has decided to suspend all campaigning activities in response to the recent developments in southern Israel.
Meanwhile the Likud has cancelled all events, and senior party officials told Ynet that the Likud may also decide to suspend its negative campaign against Kadima – which was due to be launched on Sunday. (Amnon Meranda and Attila Somfalvi)
