Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad slammed the IDF strike in Gaza and called on Arab nations to act to stop it.
"Israel wants revenge on the Palestinians, but God willing it will be defeated," said Ahmadinejad during a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart, Bashar Assad. During a call with his Qatari counterpart he said, "The utter silence of the UN Security Council is concerning and proves that its claims to maintaining human rights are empty." (Dudi Cohen)
