IDF estimates Hamas can still respond extensively
The Israel Defense Forces attacked some 30 different targets in the Gaza Strip on Saturday night and Monday morning, including several cells planning to fire rockets at Israel. About 210 targets have been attacked in Gaza since the start of "Operation Cast Lead" on Saturday morning.
An evaluation of the situation held by the IDF on Sunday morning revealed that the Hamas organization suffered somewhat from the operation, but according to estimates, "its ability to respond extensively and using different means has been maintained." (Hanan Greenberg)
