South Africa summoned Dov Segev-Steinberg, Consul General of Israel in the state and expressed its concern over the "brutal Israeli attack in Gaza," the South African Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The South African Foreign Ministry called on Israel to cease its aggression immediately, saying Operation Cast Lead was a "gross violation of Gaza residents' rights." (AFP)
