Livni refuses to comment on ceasefire proposal reports

Published: 12.30.08, 18:02 / Israel News

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni refused to comment on the reports of a 48-hour ceasefire, as proposed by French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner to Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

Livni's office said in response, "What she has to say she'll say in the discussion rooms and not on the media." Barak is expected to raise the proposal in his meeting with Livni and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert later Tuesday. (Roni Sofer)
