Iranian Health Minister Kamran Baqeri Lankarani met with Hamas' representative in Tehran and told him that the Islamic Republic was working to deliver medical aid to the Gaza Strip, the IRNA news agency reported.
The minister said that Iranian hospitals were ready to take in Palestinians injured in Gaza, and expressed his hope that Egypt would allow the injured to enter the country and to be flown to Iran from there. (Dudi Cohen)
