Estimate: More than 50 terrorists killed since start of ground op
The IDF estimates that more than 50 Hamas operatives have been killed since the inception of the IDF's ground operation. Forces in the fields reported close-range encounters with Hamas cells that are using a broad range of weaponry against them – mainly explosive devices.
IDF sources said that the ground operation is proceeding as planned and that the forces are meeting the schedule that was set prior to the operation. (Hanan Greenberg)
