Police commissioner orders high alert in all of Israel
Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen made an assessment of Israel's security watch with the police's top echelons during which he instructed that high alert status be continued throughout the country. This comes on the backdrop of the IDF's operations in the Gaza Strip.
Until now, 584 people suspected of violent disturbances of the peace, mainly in the north of the country and in Jerusalem, have been arrested. (Efrat Weiss)
