Peres: Europe must stop 'double game' with Israel
Israel's President Shimon Peres met with EU foreign policy leaders as well as the foreign ministers of France, Sweden, and the Czech Republic, and said, "Europe must stop playing this double game with Israel."
"Not one of you would sit with your arms crossed in the face of missiles being fired at your country," said Peres. The European representatives leveled criticism at the "lack of proportion" in Israel's response in the Gaza Strip. (Roni Sofer)
