Hamas representative in Lebanon: UN resolution shows Israel failed

Hamas' representative in Lebanon, Osama Hamdan, said Hamas was not a side to the United Nations Security Council Resolution on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and that the resolution shows Israel failed on the ground.
"This failure is what led to the resolution, but we stress that no one consulted us. We view the resolution as a decision which does not take into account the Palestinian interests and does not talk about lifting the siege and opening the crossings," Hamdan said. (Ali Waked)
